Patent Docketing and New Changes to Patent Law - America Invents Act

Presented by: Vito Canuso, Esq. For almost 25 years, Mr. Canuso has been practicing IP Law, focusing heavily on patent litigation and patent prosecution in the medical and high-tech sectors.  Prior to joining ReCor, he was in-house IP counsel for CoreValve, Inc., and later for Medtronic's cardiovascular division.  For 18 years, Vito was with Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear, spending several years as a senior partner in the litigation and prosecution departments managing hundreds of clients.  He has litigated cases in federal courts throughout the United States, as well as before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and the International Trade Court in Washington, D.C.  With two engineering degrees, and experience as a licensed engineer in the mechanical and civil fields prior to obtaining his law degree, Vito has brought both legal and technical insight in helping numerous technology companies manage offensive and defensive patent strategies.
