The Crossroads: Where Bankruptcy and Litigation Meet This meeting will cover what happens in civil litigation when a bankruptcy is filed. 

Presented by: Renee M. Parker, Esq.  Attorney Parker earned her B.S., magna cum laude at California State University, San Marcos and subsequently earned her J.D. at Michigan State University College of Law in 2005. In addition to bankruptcy, Attorney Parker’s practice areas also include litigation and representation involving mortgage banking, loan servicing, foreclosure trustee defense, general business and real estate matters. Prior to working in the Bankruptcy field, Attorney Parker worked in the insurance industry, first for Farmers Insurance and then as an employee of GMAC/Homecomings Financial.  She began practicing in the Bankruptcy field in 2008 and handled both debtor and creditor bankruptcy work, ensuring there was no overlap in geographic area or scope.  Attorney Parker represents clients in, California, Washington, Oregon and is currently being admitted to Arizona.

Presented by: Nichole Glowin, Esq. Attorney Glowin was admitted to the California bar in 2009 and has been with the Law Offices of Wright, Finlay & Zak since 2009.While in law school at Chapman Univiersity School of Law Ms. Glowin won several CALI awards for academic excellence in the areas of Community Property and Elder Law and was an active member in Phi Delta Phi, the Republican Club, and the Animal and Entertainment Law Societies. Prior to joining, Wright, Finlay  Zak, Mrs. Glowin worked at Hershorin & Henry, LLP, specializing in title insurance litigation and interpleader matters. Ms. Glowin currently focuses on bankruptcy law and acts as the Wright Finlay and Zak’s Managing Bankruptcy Attorney. For the past six years Mrs. Glowin has specialized in all areas of bankruptcy law including Chapter 11, 13 and 7 matters, adversary litigation, relief from stay matters, proofs of claim, plan objections and all other substantive bankruptcy motions. Ms. Glowin is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts through California and handles bankruptcy matters in the Central, Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts. 

OCPA is a State Bar of California Approved MCLE provider and certifies that this seminar qualifies for MCLE CREDIT 1.0. 

$30 for OCPA Members and $40.00 for Non-Members with payment via website event. $40.00 for all walk-in attendees. Dinner will be provided.
