Putting Your Best Case Forward, Trial Presentation: Tools and Techniques for Managing a Powerful Trial Presentation

Presented by: Joe Cerda, Multimedia Litigation & Support Manager at HG Litigation Services and Director of Trial Operations at Trial Resource in Dallas, Texas.

Visit: www.hglitigation.com and www.trialresource.com

Synopsis: The advantages of using technology at the time of trial, hearings or ADR are stunning. Using technology lends many advantages to attorneys/law firms when preparing their case(s) for trial or ADR. This comprehensive class is meant to educate on the various forms of available software and hardware options, while providing insight into changes in technology to apply strategically to your case.

This class will also give an overview of different forms of electronic media, delivery, and effective presentation methods.

Also in this class, paralegals will receive education and training in practical applications of trial presentation software and apps. This will help to enable participants to prepare for trial in an effective, time-efficient manner. Participants will learn how to best structure their case(s) clearly and effectively for a successful, seamless presentation to a judge, jury or mediator in trial or ADR. Attorneys/paralegals will receive education and advice regarding wired courtrooms and tools to use for optimal trial advantage.

This class has been thoughtfully crafted with today’s sophisticated juries and lawyers from all types of litigation practice areas in mind. As technology advances and becomes more readily available to each and every consumer, the court room stakes get higher in terms of presentation and expectations. This fact brings to light fresh new ideas as well as cautionary tales.

In 2003, he was recruited by HG Litigation Services, a small Dallas, Texas court reporting agency. Joe’s role in this company was “everything”, and the next nine years was marked by exponential growth for HG, which transformed from a local court reporting firm with just a few employees into a national, full-service litigation support firm; supporting law firms throughout the United States.
