Legal Aid Society of Orange County Seeks Volunteers

Apply your paralegal skills and make a difference!  Legal Aid Society of Orange County is seeking talented and motivated paralegals and paralegal students to assist our Intake Hotline department.  Improve your client interviewing skills, learn different areas of law, and work with our staff attorneys to deliver services to our client community.  LASOC is a non-profit, pro bono law firm serving low income clients, families, and senior citizens in Orange and Southeast Los Angeles Counties.  The Hotline is located at 2101 N. Tustkin Avenue in Santa Ana, CA.

Legal Aid is seeking volunteers who are willing to commit at least 3 months of service.  Legal Aid will work with intern/extern credit requirements and student schedules as much as possible.

Required skills:  PC/Windows, Internet Explorer, active listening, effective communication, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  Bilingual a plus!  Afternoon available also a plus!
