TOPIC: Title-404b Character Evidence at Trial
Federal Rule of Evidence 404(b) generally prohibits the use of evidence from other crimes, wrongs, or acts to prove a person's character in order to show they acted in conformity with that character. However, there are exceptions, allowing such evidence for other purposes like proving motive, intent, or opportunity.
