TOPIC: Responding to ICE Raids
This presentation will walk through recommended responses if ICE agents arrive at an organization or place of work. It will cover how to verify whether agents have a judicial warrant versus an administrative warrant, the implications of an administrative warrant (that does not authorize entry into non-public areas), and guidance on what a workplace or organization's response protocol should look like in case of a raid.

C.B. Rome represents companies and executives in internal and government-facing investigations, white collar defense and regulatory enforcement matters, and complex commercial litigation. Her experience spans anti-money laundering, consumer protection, bribery and kickbacks, financial fraud, sanctions violations and employment misconduct.
Prior to law school, C.B. worked as a broadcast journalist at CNN. They also served as a communication professional at a variety of nonprofits, including the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, the Los Angeles LGBT Center, and the Downtown Women's Center. C.B. received a B.A. with honors in English from the George Washington University and their J.D. cum laude from Loyola Law School.
